The final night of TV before Survivor Series weekends leaves us at SmackDown where we all know NXT and Raw would be in the house. Roman Reigns knew exactly that, as he opened the door to let them poor on in. Could WWE deliver on the final night before the huge weekend? Here are the highlights.
Team NXT Names Women’s Captain, Leads To Captain Triple Threat Between Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Rhea Ripley
A thunderous start to SmackDown as Sasha Banks led Team SmackDown out to the ring and laid down the challenge to both NXT and Raw to come down and take them on. Out came Charlotte Flair and the rest of Team Raw ready to fight. Oh but before they could even try and fight, the NXT women made their way out, led by Rhea Ripley who would reveal she was team captain. In toe was Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, and Toni Storm, as it seems that it is the official women’s team for the elimination match. Pretty great. Rhea laid down the gauntlet to the captains for a triple threat which is exactly what we got.
Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Rhea Ripley
Charlotte Flair got hit badly in this one, leading to plenty of blood pouring from her face. But this was as physical as one could imagine and came down to a clever finish. Charlotte locked on the Figure Four and attempted to go into the Figure Eight but was stopped as Ripley rolled her over for the pin to get the win. Yes, Ripley pinned Charlotte. After the match, Raw and SmackDown attacked each other as NXT celebrated at the top of the ramp.

You knew this would all end with the men brawling as the women kicked off the show. After Baron Corbin‘s team nabbed the win, the fight was on as Roman Reigns hit the Spear to leave just him in the ring. “Burn It Down” hit as Seth Rollins, in Shield-like fashion, walked down to the ring with Raw backing him. Then the fight was on. SmackDown and Raw were going at it and eventually, SmackDown cleared their ring. Then a scene from the Attitude Era took the stage as Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, and Triple H led Team NXT into the arena on the DX army car and it was on. Chaos ensued as they fought all around the ring before Keith Lee and Braun Strowman ended the show in a staredown in the perfect way to go into the big Survivor Series show.
There it is. The final television show prior to Survivor Series. The war is on. Who will come out with brand supremacy?
