2nd Generation Wrestler Miranda Gordy Heading to Japan

The shadow of Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy continues to spread, long after his tragic death of the WWE Hall of Famer and Fabulous Freebird at the age of 40. In the mid-2000s, his son Ray Gordy became a WWE Superstar, teaming with Festus (Luke Gallows) under the name of Jesse. While Ray is no longer wrestling, one of Gordy’s daughters, Miranda Gordy, has picked up the family business and started training this summer to follow in her father’s footsteps.

Miranda Gordy has been working for various US indies since her debut this year, including working with Mid States Wrestling (MSW) in Missouri and Southwest Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) and  Texoma Pro Wrestling in Texas, but now she’s taking another cue from her dad’s resume – she’s heading to Japan. As revealed on Twitter, the second generation star is heading to work with Tokyo Championship Wrestling (TCW) to continue her training. Miranda has also been booked for this year’s WrestleCade, which will feature a reunion of former Freebirds Michael PS Hayes and Jimmy Garvin.

In the early stages of her in-ring wrestling career, she’s been a valet for many other wrestlers prior to this step, where the “Badstreet Beauty” has managed the New Freebirds, Tristin Hayze and Buddy Roberts Jr., as well as “Outlaw” Randy Wayne. She also recently wrestled against 2x WWE Women’s Champion and ECW veteran Jazz.
