September Class ’19: A Look at the Newest WWE PC Recruits (VIDEOS)

WWE officially unveiled the September class of new recruits reporting to the WWE Performance Center (WWE PC) a little early on Wednesday, showcasing nine new future WWE Superstars. Headlined by indie superstars Austin Theory and Santana Garrett, it features some prospects as well. Noticeably absent is former AAA and Lucha Underground star El Hijo del Fantasma, but the former King Cuerno has indeed arrived. Speculation is he may make his debut at the upcoming NXT tapings and will debut as a surprise.

Austin Theory has been on WWE’s radar for some time now and the reigning EVOLVE Champion was seen sitting ringside during this past week’s NXT TakeOver: Toronto II. Only a three-year pro, Theory was trained by AR Fox and debuted out of the World Wrestling Alliance 4 (WWA4) wrestling school in Atlanta, Georgia. In his second year, he joined the WWN family, working with EVOLVE and Full Impact Pro, where he won the FIP World Heavyweight Championship.

An odd choice for a WWE Superstar, but Briana Brandy comes from the world of hip-hop where she’s already an established artist who has toured with the likes of Soulja Boy and Jadakiss. But don’t think that’s made her soft – she’s an extreme CrossFit athlete, boxing trainer, and has apparently also trained in ninjutsu.
