It’s a case of tragic timing, as Al Wilson, the real-life father of former WWE Superstar Torrie Wilson who was involved in a lengthy storyline where he was dating Dawn Marie and “died” after a rigorous sexual session, passed away for real this week. The sudden passing happened just days before the former WWE Superstar Torrie was to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Al Wilson first became a character in the WWE in September of 2002, when he began a “relationship” with former ECW Superstar Dawn Marie, to the ire of Torrie Wilson. Wilson would see action in the ring as well, teaming with Rikishi in a loss to the tandem of Dawn Marie and Matt Hardy, which lead to a showdown between Torrie and Dawn. The story carried into 2003, when Al and Dawn were married in January. A week later, Al Wilson’s character died following a crazy night of passion with his new bride, leading to the final blow off at Royal Rumble 2003 in which Torrie finally defeated her rival.
