Championship Wrestling From Hollywood made a huge announcement on their Twitter account that the Rocknes Monsters will face Double Platinum for the vacant tag team titles when they tape their 400th episode on January 6th.

The Rocknes Monsters (Johnny Yuma/Kevin Martenson) are three-time CWFH Hollywood Heritage Tag Team Champions (now UWN Tag Titles) and have wrestled in this iteration since 2016 (Yuma and Johnny Goodnight 2009-2015). The team as a whole saw limited bookings between 2015-2016 and didn’t have any in 2017 according to cagematch.net. However, these two Nebulan grapplers returned full force this year in Hollywood, and that commitment rewarded them with a shot at gold.

Double Platinum is getting a tag team title shot and none deserve it more. Chris Bey and Suede Thompson are a force to be reckoned with anywhere they compete. The bling wearing duo backs up the big talk with one thing – wins. They won the FSW Tag Team Titles this Fall but lost them back to One Percent in December. With that setback behind them, Double Platinum can add another trophy to their ever-expanding case with the UWN Tag Team Titles. Chris Bey is also emerging as one of the West Coast’s brightest stars, recently winning the FSW Heavyweight Championship.
