At tonight’s EVOLVE 117 tonight, Austin Theory defeated two NXT Superstars, Roderick Strong and EVOLVE Champion Fabian Aichner, to become the new EVOLVE Champion. Aichner had only just recently captured the title at the start of the NXT invasion of EVOLVE.

In other news out of EVOLVE 117, Eddie Kingston – last seen on IMPACT Wrestling in the LAX feud between new members Santana & Ortiz against the OGz of Kingston, Homicide and Hernandez, made his EVOLVE debut, where he was promptly called out and challenged to a match in January by NXT’s Montez Ford of the Street Profits (who are currently the EVOLVE Tag Team Champions).
