We reported earlier that the Street Profits won the EVOLVE Championship and in that report, we mentioned that another NXT star, Fabian Aichner, challenged Shane Strickland for the EVOLVE Championship. Well, Aichner has won and is your NEW EVOLVE champion as EVOLVE has been turned on its head in one show. With reports that WWE was allowing EVOLVE to air matches featuring NXT superstars and rumors that WWE was finally about to pull the trigger on adding indie content to its network, these two title changes could all be a part of EVOLVE becoming a bigger part of the WWE developmental system.

Fabian Aichner is the new EVOLVE champion, the Street Profits are the new EVOLVE tag team champions, Adrian Jaoude and Cezar Banoni joined forces and Dan Matha debuted as NXT invaded EVOLVE for a night. Is this the beginning of EVOLVE becoming NXT 2.0, is it the new developmental territory while NXT becomes an official third brand? or are WWE just giving these talents something to do until creative has something for them? Whatever comes of this, EVOLVE 114 is the night everything changed.
