First the unique Australian sensation, Mick Moretti is set to take on Rory Gulak. Moretti’s team of the Ancient Order of the Nations may have fallen short of Trios gold, but he’s ready to move on. In previous CHIKARA visits, he racked up two points toward a Grand Championship opportunity. Moretti defeated Race Jaxon on the June 4, 2017, edition of the Hour of Power. He also defeated Jessica Troy at the 2017 Johnny Kidd Invitational. Mick Moretti is now on the hunt for his third and final point to earn his next golden opportunity.

Rory Gulak is a man on a different type of journey. Rory hasn’t been seen in CHIKARA in several months. Not since he lost in the first round of the 2018 Johnny Kidd Invitational. Rory is looking to use this match to turn his own luck around. Unfortunately, while both are noble causes, only one man can win.

Jeremy Leary and Lucas Calhoun needed a new partner following the beatdown of B.M.D. in July. At Night two of King of Trios, they seemingly found a new partner in Blanche Babish. As a unit with Jessica Troy and Shazza McKenzie, they defeated Oceanea, her Creatures of the Deep and BLANK. This newfound trio now looks to capitalize on this recent success as they take on the Nouveau Aesthetic. BLANK was certainly not thrilled with the loss. Now he will lead Still Life with Apricots and Pears and Ursa Minor in the Night Sky into battle again.

CHIKARA’s newest superstar Boomer Hatfield will also be in action at It Came from Beneath the Sink! Boomer’s career has already been off to a fantasy-like start. He’s been able to start his wrestling career and team with his father, Dasher Hatfield. Boomer looks to get some momentum going and overcome The Whisper. The Whisper is on a bit of a roll himself, he beat Carlos Romo on Night three of King of Trios.

Next, we have a King of Trios rematch of sorts. Fire Ant, Green Ant (II) and Thief Ant overcame the Proteus Wheel in the first round of KOT. The winning of the 2018 King of Trios solidified the ResistANTce as The Colony. It brought them together as a unit and Fire Ant accepted them at last. Now Fire Ant and Thief Ant put their bond to the test and face off again with the Proteus Wheel. Professor Nicodemus’ powerhouses of Callux the Castignator and Volgar are poised for revenge.

In addition to tag team and trios action, we also have some atomicos action to enjoy. Mike Quackenbush will be captaining one team, while generation one CHIKARA original Hallowicked captains the other. Quack leads in Green Ant (II), Solo Darling and Officer Warren Barksdale. This is Officer Barksdale’s first appearance in CHIKARA since Aniversario: Heroes Shed No Tears. Hallowicked leads in the giants Merlok and Frantik, as well as Sonny Defarge.

Also in trios action, we have Hype Rockwell teaming up with the Beast Warriors. Together, they are known as The Hyper Beast Warriors. Oleg The Usurper and the Proletariat Boar of Moldova won the Tag Team Gauntlet at King of Trios. This entitles them to a shot at the Campeonatos de Parejas. The current Campeonatos de Parejas are Sloan Caprice and Rick Roland, The Closers. Together with Juan Francisco de Coronado, they are The Regime. Now The Regime was unexpectedly knocked out in the first round of King of Trios. They are looking to turn their fortunes here, as well as scout the next challengers to the Campeonatos de Parejas.

Finally, we have our Grand Championship match. The current Grand Champion is Mr. Touchdown Mark Angelosetti. This was scheduled to be his first title defense.

However, during the first round of King of Trios, Mr. Touchdown landed awkwardly during a suplex from Chris Dickinson. This resulted in a broken right fibia for Mr. Touchdown. Director of Fun, Bryce Remsburg, allowed Mr. Touchdown to select an interim champion. This interim champion will defend the title in Mr. Touchdown’s stead while he recuperates. He selected his step-cousin-in-law and tag team partner, Dasher Hatfield. Dasher will defend the Grand Championship against the Johnny Kidd Invitational winner, Travis Huckabee. Travis has never faced wither member of The Throwbacks before, but he is ready to cash in his points. Will his motto of “doing what others won’t” prove to be the secret to the Grand Championship? Or will Dasher Hatfield bring the title back to the dugout?

All of this exciting action will take place on September 22nd at It Came from Beneath the Sink! You can watch it live at the Wrestle Factory in Philadelphia. If you can’t experience CHIKARA live, fear not, it will be streaming live and on-demand on CHIKARAtopia!
