This past Friday at Rockstar Pro‘s Weekend at Murray’s event saw a main event triple threat that was no ordinary triple threat. It featured three champions putting all three of their titles on the line in a winner takes all match. The match featured Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) Wired Champion Zachary Wentz, Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU) Alto Impacto Champion Alex Colon, and Wrestling Revolver Scramble Champion Ace Austin vying to become a triple champion. The result was Austin shocking the Dayton crowd with the upset victory, just as his star is shining brighter than every before.

Only 21 years old, Ace Austin has been turning heads since his debut in 2015 with the likes of the Samoan’s World Xtreme Wrestling (WXW) and CZW, but the past year has seen his stock soar like never before. The unique Austin, a high flyer who combines athleticism and instinct with sleight of hand and magic, the “Ace” has had quite the year in 2018: he’s appeared three times for IMPACT Wrestling (twice on specials, IMPACT x Wrestling Revolver on Twitch and One Night Only: Zero Fear, and last week in the Ohio-infused 6-man tag match on IMPACT on Pop), made his debuts with the likes of Beyond Wrestling, All American Wrestling (AAW), Rockstar Pro and DTU, and even teamed with GALLI Champion Barry Ryte for a match on WWE’s 205 Live against the Lucha House Party tandem of Kalisto & Lince Dorado (although Austin appeared as Ryan DePolo and Ryte as Chris Robinson). Look for 2019 to be the year Ace Austin officially breaks out.
