With news this morning that one of Women of Honor‘s longest standing stars, Deonna Purrazzo, was on her way to the WWE Performance Center, Ring of Honor announced that another indie star was making their WOH debut this month, with Thunder Rosa appearing for Ring of Honor at ROH State of the Art in Texas June 15/16 weekend.

Starting out in the California indie scene in 2015, she worked for STARDOM in Japan starting in 2015 as part of the Oedo Tai faction. Later the same year, she was added to the second season of Lucha Underground, where she debuted as Kobra Moon, the mysterious leader of the Snake Tribe. She’s remained a big part of Lucha Underground ever since, guiding her team of Vibora, Pindar and Drago to the Lucha Underground Trios Championship.
Since 2016, she’s also been part of the tag team Twisted Sisters, alongside Holidead, who have competed around the world, including STARDOM and the North American indie scene, where they’ve held the Vendetta Pro and Sabotage Tag Team titles. This past WrestleMania weekend at the Beyond/WWR show Lit Up, they scored a huge win over EVOLVE Tag Team Champions Doom Patrol (Jaka & Chris Dickinson).
Thunder Rosa is a solid addition to the WOH roster as Women of Honor looks to expand its presence on the Ring of Honor landscape throughout 2018.
Women of Honor also announced the return of STARDOM’s Kagestu and Hazuki to ROH for Best in the World at the end of the month.
