WWE SmackDown Predictions (3/13/26) – Jelly Roll Betrays Randy Orton

WWE SmackDown Predictions are here for March 13, 2026. This week’s episode is taking place at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, as WWE is getting fired up on the road to WrestleMania 42. There are already two SmackDown-affiliated world title matches made official for the biggest show of the year: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton.

This week on SmackDown, one match and one segment have been officially scheduled: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Michin in a Non-Title Match and Cody Rhodes v. Randy Orton in a WWE Title Contract Signing. Jelly Roll is also scheduled to be in attendance to support his SummerSlam tag partner, Randy Orton. Without further ado, here are the official SmackDown Predictions for March 13, 2026.

Jade Cargill (c) vs. Michin – Non-Title Match

Jade Cargill and Michin had a hot feud in 2025, but it was delayed due to Michin’s injury. Now that Michin is back, she picked up right where she left off with Cargill. Cargill was bullying Michin and B-Fab backstage, and Michin wants to put Cargill in her place. Many fans complained about Cargill not defending the title, but she has been in non-title feuds with Secret Hervice, Michin and B-Fab.

Michin is not even in the conversation for a title match due to her lackluster momentum, so it would be nonsensical for her to be granted a title opportunity. In fact, more than half of the division do not have sufficient momentum to be considered for a title shot. This is merely due to booking flaws in Cargill’s title reign, but her intimidating presence at the top brings legitimacy to the roster.

Evidently, Cargill will win this match to keep her momentum going for her upcoming title match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania. It would be unwise for her to lose any matches before then, as both Cargill and Ripley should be dominating. That way, the fans will view their title match as “more than a spectacle,” despite the underwhelming promo battle they had recently.

Prediction: Jade Cargill

Cody Rhodes v. Randy Orton – WWE Title Contract Signing

Thanks to a clutch assist by Jacob Fatu, Cody Rhodes finally got his revenge and dethroned Drew McIntyre last week on SmackDown. The original plan was always for Rhodes to walk into WrestleMania as WWE Champion, but it was nice to see McIntyre run SmackDown and cause chaos for a bit. He put in some good work this past calendar year and definitely deserved that spotlight.

It has also been rumored that McIntyre will be taking some time off from WWE after Mania due to filming duties with Highlander. This means McIntyre will likely lose to Fatu at WrestleMania for the official write-off. Fatu thinks that McIntyre kicked his teeth down his throat backstage and wants his revenge, and McIntyre will want revenge for Fatu costing him the WWE Title.

A victory over a former WWE Champ would do wonders for Fatu’s career and elevate him to the main event scene. As for Rhodes and Orton, they will take a trip down memory lane to their days of Legacy and discuss their teacher-pupil relationship in this contract signing, and Jelly Roll will be bitter about losing his SummerSlam debut match with Randy Orton and side with Cody Rhodes.

Prediction: Jelly Roll Will Side With Cody Rhodes
