WWE Raw will see the latest in Nikki Bella resurgence

Why This WWE Return Run Can be Nikki Bella’s Best

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella returned to WWE at the 2025 Royal Rumble and, by June 2025, was back to appearing regularly on WWE Television. She truly hasn’t missed a step. Bella has already had Women’s Championship opportunities and showed that she is here to make a statement.

Nikki Bella has been in and out of in-ring competition due to neck injuries and becoming a mom. She has had amazing returns and great in-ring runs following each return. However, this one has the potential to be the best, and here’s why.

The Return of The Bella Twins

Brie Bella recently made her long-awaited return to the WWE at the Royal Rumble. This time, she’s back for a full-time run alongside her sister, Nikki Bella.

Brie Bella’s last full-time run in WWE ended 10 years ago in 2016 at WrestleMania 32. She has made appearances since and had matches since, but hasn’t been in the company for another full-time run, until now.

Now that the Bella Twins are both officially back in the WWE on a regular basis, it seems like it’s time for the Hall of Famers to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. They’ve never held or even had a shot at the championships. A tag team championship run can be the perfect cherry on top for both of their careers. Along with truly cementing themselves as one of the greatest women’s tag teams that WWE has had.

New Competition

We’ve already seen Nikki Bella step into the ring with new opponents on this run. Women such as Stephanie Vacquer, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez. If the Bella Twins go after the Tag Team Championships, then they will be going after IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, who both twins haven’t had a match with yet.

There are many girls on the roster that neither of the Bellas has ever stepped in the ring with. And the women they have stepped in the ring with have grown tremendously since the last time they’ve been in the ring together. The first example of an old foe I can think of is Charlotte Flair. The last time Nikki Bella and Charlotte Flair had a singles match was in 2015, when Flair won the Divas’ Championship. Since then, Flair has grown into her character and solidified her position on the main roster.

With all of this new and upcoming talent on the main roster, we will get to have some never-before-seen matches. Who is someone that you would like to see Nikki Bella face?

A Women’s Championship Run

The ultimate WWE run would be for Nikki Bella to become Women’s Champion once more. However, she has already challenged for the championship against Stephanie Vaquer and lost twice: once on Monday Night Raw (December 29, 2025) and the other at Survivor Series 2025.

It is hard to say if she will get another opportunity at this championship, especially because she is now moving more into tag team action. At least as long as Vaquer has it, it seems like she’s looking for new opponents for now. We also don’t know how long either of the Bella Twins are staying full-time. After their tag team run, will that be it for the Bella Twins?

Who do you want to see Nikki Bella have a match against? Do you think she can win another championship before she hangs up the boots?
