The final WWE Raw before Royal Rumble will feature a tag team championship No.1 contenders match

Preview: WWE Raw (1/26/26) Royal Rumble Go-home

Following a newsworthy European tour, WWE returns to North America for WWE Raw. WWE Raw will top off the company’s Canadian long weekend following Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE SmackDown in Montreal. Here is the WWE Raw preview for 1/26/26.

WWE Raw emanates from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON. North American fans will be pleased to see WWE Raw return to its usual time of 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. European fans will be less enthused for the show to return to its Tuesday morning start time. But at least the WWE Royal Rumble returns to evening viewing in Europe.

Regardless of when you watch WWE Raw, here’s what’s on the show.

The Usos’ Next Challenger Decided

Four teams will vie for a chance to earn a shot at World Tag Team Champions The Usos. It could be a good time to challenge the champions, as Jey Uso has declared his focus on winning the Royal Rumble. It could all be obsolete if The Hardys get their dream of a WrestleMania match with the current champs.

It’ll be American Made’s first match on WWE Raw since July, 2025. They will need to show something different to come away as winners. The New Day hope it’ll be the same old, same old. The five-time World Tag champs last held the straps in December.

Otis and Akira Tozawa are pushing to be seen more seriously. They hope this match is their chance be more than a lovable comedy duo and become a credible team again.

Rayo and Bravo now have an R and a B on their masks, so you know which of El Grande Americano’s Los Americanos is which. The original joke of El Grande Americano was that he wasn’t actually a luchador.

It’s clear who is behind that mask, but little work has been made to add any humour or interest to who Rayo and Bravo really are. Breaking some fingers would be a good place to start. But the big issue is that WWE’s actual luchadors are no longer bothered with these impersonators. This is a trend that is in danger of growing.

What Else?

Bron Breakker is back from his suspension to spear said real luchadors. The only question is whether he spears Rey Mysterio, Penta or Dragon Lee first.

Expect anyone not declared for the Royal Rumble to do that. Expect everyone declared for the Royal Rumble to claim that they will throw 29 other people out of the ring. Finally, Natalya will tell us why she turned on Maxxine Dupri. But will she do it with a new look?
