WWE SmackDown Preview (11/14/25) – John Cena “The Last Time Is Now” Tournament 1st Round

It’s a massive week for WWE, as the John Cena “The Last Time Is Now” Tournament began with a series of exciting first-round matches, and it continues this Friday night! WWE Universe, we’re not going to keep you waiting any further. We all know you’re excited. Here’s a WWE SmackDown preview for November 14, 2025. Let’s run it down.

The Storm’s First Test

On last week’s WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill said a few choice words to the WWE Universe after becoming the new dominator of the SmackDown Women’s Division, before dropping the mic in less time than it takes to microwave a hot pocket. But as Corey Graves eloquently put it, it was “’nuff said.” Backstage, someone would ruffle Cargill’s feathers. As the new WWE Women’s Champion was entering the Women’s locker room, he would shout at B-FAB to get out of her way.

B-FAB would tell Michin she doesn’t like how Jade Cargill conducts herself, and Cargill would hear that, asking B-FAB if she wants to do something about it. A defiant B-FAB just said “Bet,” setting up this match for next week. This match against B-FAB is the first time we’ll see Jade Cargill in action since becoming WWE Women’s Champion.

Will Jade Cargill further exert her dominance, or will B-FAB pull off the upset against the new champion?

The Last Time Begins

The tournament to determine who will face John Cena for his final match on December 13th, 2025, continues this Friday night, as we have The Miz, one of Cena’s greatest adversaries, taking on the man who eliminated John Cena from the 2025 Royal Rumble and went on to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, “Main Event” Jey Uso.

The Miz, in an interview with Cathy Kelley backstage, spoke briefly about this showdown with Jey, saying that he deserves to be Cena’s final opponent, and he’ll make sure to get it in writing on his way to retiring John Cena at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII.

On the flipside, the “Megastar” LA Knight also has his own first-round matchup on this upcoming SmackDown. Unfortunately, Nick Aldis would not disclose who it was, suggesting it could be someone big, as the SmackDown General Manager had a massive smirk on his face once he drew the random name.

Regardless, it’s time to buckle in, everyone. The Last Time Is Now, and it’s going to fly by fast if you don’t keep an eye on it. Join us this Friday night as we see things unfold live, on The USA Network and Netflix!
