In a situation no one expected, Chelsea Green would pull off the upset on WWE SmackDown. Of course, Green is no stranger to upsets, being viewed as one of the biggest underdogs in WWE in recent history. However, her latest triumph might be her biggest one yet. On WWE SmackDown this week, Green challenged Giulia for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
As everyone expected, Giulia had the upper hand from the jump, even hitting Chelsea Green with an Arrivederci Knee. However, Kiana James would get involved, only to get blasted by Secret HERvice member Alba Fyre. Giulia, naturally, would check on her Business Representative, and this momentary lapse in judgment would cost her big.
Not even five minutes into the match, Chelsea Green would capitalize on the situation, rolling up Giulia to become a two-time Women’s United States Champion. This is monumental for Chelsea, as she is now a double champion, being the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions, along with Ethan Page, who’s the NXT North American Champion and was present on Friday night to congratulate his fellow Canadian.
Folks, anything can happen in the WWE, and this is irrefutable proof to always be on your game.
