WWE NXT Preview (7/22/25) – Live from Houston, TX

This week’s episode of WWE NXT takes place at the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas. This show continues the road to the Heatwave special.

At time of writing, only three matches have been confirmed for this card. It can be expected that, following the TNA Slammiversary event, there will be more on deck for the card. Here is all you need to know ahead of the July 22 NXT.

  • NXT Championship Triple Threat Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Josh Briggs vs. Yoshiki Inamura
  • Singles Match: Blake Monroe vs. Wren Sinclair
  • Singles Match: Ricky Saints vs. Jasper Troy
  • The Undertaker confronts Trick Williams

Blake Monroe’s NXT TV In-Ring Debut

Blake Monroe is set to make her NXT TV in-ring debut this week. Her opponent will be No Quarter Catch Crew’s Wren Sinclair. Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights will come together to support Sinclair.

Although she is excited for this match, Monroe will need to keep her head on a swivel. Jordynne Grace is still on the hunt for her, following her betrayal at WWE Evolution 2025. Regardless, this could be a match that kicks off one or more feuds heading into Heatwave.
