The Legacy of WWE's R-Truth/Ron Killings

Ron Killings Takes Drastic Action While Promising Fans, “the Truth Has Set Me Free”

Allow him to introduce himself. Ron Killings fka R-Truth has arrived and it’s time to put some respect on his name.

On Saturday at Money in the Bank, Ron Killings shocked the world when he appeared at the end of the John Cena/Logan Paul vs Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso match to cost his childhood hero and his partner. The crowd exploded as chants of “We Want Truth,” had seemingly been responded to. At the time, it was unsure if Truth’s WWE release, reported earlier, was a work or not, but the man himself confirmed it very much wasn’t. On Monday, Killings reiterated this sentiment letting the fans know that he was here because of them and their voices. They chanted for him and here he was. As a result, he was back for them. But he was also back for himself.

Ron Killings said he loved R-Truth but sometimes, Truth could be too funny, too nice, too forgiving. Killings however was none of those things. He told the fans he feels different, he feels alive. And that’s when he took drastic action to prove just how serious he was. Killings took out a pair of scissors and cut off his trademark locks before telling the crowd the truth had set him free. Killings said he’s “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”

If there was ever any doubt after what happened Saturday, Ron Killings certainly made it known on Monday. For however long he’s around this time around, he means business.
