WWE King & Queen of the Ring is back for its 2025 edition. On WWE SmackDown this week, in a joint announcement, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that the tournament is back, kicking off with four Fatal 4-Way Matches.

The finals will happen at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. In years past, being crowned King & Queen of the Ring was enough for most people. However, this year’s edition has higher stakes than ever before. As announced by the two head honchos, whoever wins their respective tournaments and secures the crown can call their shot at their specific brand’s top champions at WWE SummerSlam.

The King & Queen of the Ring has always been an exciting event. This year, the stakes could not be any higher. The crown and a headlining spot for a world championship at SummerSlam could be career-altering for any superstar.
