WWE SmackDown Results Today (6/6/25):

  • Seth Rollins kicks off WWE SmackDown with Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman, and Bronson Reed by his side as he addresses the WWE Universe. Rollins put everyone on notice, informing the WWE Universe of his and his group’s imminent rise once he wins Money in the Bank. Solo Sikoa, with JC Mateo and U.S. Champion Jacob Fatu, would stand their ground, looking to fight Rolins and his cohorts on their perceived turf. Seth would take himself and his men out of danger, exiting the ring. Jimmy Uso would then clear house, attacking Sikoa’s crew.
  • To start this Money in the Bank 2025 weekend on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso battles JC Mateo. JC would dominate most of the affair. But Jimmy Uso would find a way to win. Jimmy was on the verge of winning, planning for a Uso Splash. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu would try to assist, with both going up on the apron. A miscue led to Mateo blasting Fatu, leaving Jimmy with the opening and rolling up JC for the win.
  • Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega gets ready for a “Bakersfield Brawl” against Secret HERvice member Piper Niven. Vega had the decks stacked against her as Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre got involved. At the climax of this match, Niven was about to deliver a devastating Vader Bomb on Vega through a table. Fortunately, Giulia had her back, clearing out Green and Fyre first, then striking Niven with the Kendo Stick, allowing Vega to deliver a Powerbomb through the table for the win. Post-match, Giulia made it clear that she only helped because she was gunning for the U.S. Title, beating down the champion after her fantastic win.
  • LA Knight would talk to the WWE Universe, recognizing that he has the chance of a lifetime if he wins Money in the Bank. However, Knight also knows that it’s going to be a tough road, and with three years of MITB experience, Knight not only wants to compete but win the whole thing in Los Angeles. Aleister Black would try to stop his momentum heading into the PLE as they go one-on-one. Knight and Black were having a stellar match. Unfortunately, Seth Rollins would interfere, stomping out Knight to end this match in a no-contest.
  • Tiffany Stratton came out to make one last statement to those competing in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. Rhea Ripley would tell her that she might not know what being Ms. Money in the Bank feels like, but she sure as heck knows what it means to be a champion, and she misses that feeling. Out comes Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss for their six-woman tag team match.
  • The Six-Woman Tag Team Match between Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Stephanie Vaquer versus Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Naomi was a star-studded affair, and it was certainly a great preview for Saturday’s six-way ladder match. There was a ton of great action in this match, too many to mention, in fact. The match ended when Roxanne Perez was denied a tag by Naomi, leading to offence from Bliss, Vaquer, and finally, Rhea Ripley, who hit a Riptide on Perez to pick up the win for her team.
  • Earlier in the night, American Made confronted Andrade and Penta, leading SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to announce this next tag team match between the Luchadors and The Creed Brothers. The match was hectic and packed with great action. Penta would pick up the win with a Mexican Destroyer over Julius Creed. Seth Rollins and his men would enter the arena to lay out both Penta and Andrade.
  • Paul Heyman would get on the mic and make it known that everyone bows to them, ending the sentiment that they will seize control of WWE and the professional wrestling industry as a whole once Seth Rollins wins Money in the Bank 2025, then cashes in on the champion of his choosing to once again become the top champion in the promotion. Before Heyman could go on any further, Cody Rhodes’ music would hit, followed by Jey Uso making his entrance from the crowd, leading to Rollins’ crew’s exit from the ring.
  • To conclude the WWE SmackDown card tonight, Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso confront Undisputed WWE Champion Logan Paul one last time before their marquee tag team match at Money in the Bank 2025. Rhodes and Uso were extremely confident heading into the match. Cena would make his way to the ring, which was a distraction as Paul would blindside Jey and Cody. Cena and Paul would batter their opponents, Cena delivering an Attitude Adjustment to Jey while Logan drilled Cody with a Paulverizer. After this assault, Cena would get on the mic, making it clear that this sight was their future and no one was coming to save them. Cena promised to ruin professional wrestling, and he’s following through, introducing Logan Paul as the future and declaring himself the last real champion. After one more AA to Cody Rhodes, SmackDown ended with Paul and Cena hoisting up WWE’s two richest prizes.
