WWE SmackDown Preview (3/28/25) – Fight Night In London

The final WWE SmackDown of March 2025 comes to the WWE Universe from The O2 in London. Two big championship matches will transpire this night, the homecoming of a European hero, plus a lot more this Friday night. With all the pleasantries out of the way, let’s get right into it. Here’s a full WWE SmackDown preview for March 28th, 2025. Let’s run it down.

WWE SmackDown Preview & Card – (3/28/25):

  • WWE United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Braun Strowman
  • WWE Tag Team Championship: The Street Profits (c) vs. Pretty Deadly
  • Drew McIntyre’s Appears Live on WWE SmackDown

Striking Gold

A few weeks ago, The Street Profits regained the WWE Tag Team Championship, defeating #DIY for their first tag title win since 2020. Five whole years of climbing back to the top finally paid off. That said, there really is no rest for the wicked. After defeating Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for the title, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins went right back to work the next week.

Facing off against Los Garza in a non-title match, Ford and Dawkins proved to everyone that their title win was not a fluke but something truly earned, dispatching Angel and Berto spectacularly. This week, they put up the titles for the first time since winning it against Pretty Deadly.

If a team couple empathizes with the Profits, it’s definitely Kit Wilson and Elton Prince. The duo has done everything in their power to earn this opportunity, and they finally did it when they defeated tag team legends the Motor City Machine Guns, as well as the aforementioned Los Garza.

The Street Profits and Pretty Deadly have walked very similar paths over the last few months; both have a new lease on their careers, and both have found new sides of their games.

The WWE Tag Team Championship will be decided this Friday night in London; who will come out on top and prove they’re the superior duo?

A Knight Among Monsters

From one championship match to another, LA Knight also recently won back the United States Championship for his second reign with the title when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. Knight has been on the hunt for the title he held so dearly since November 2024. Almost a month ago, the search was finally over, and the “Megastar” pried back the precious hardware.

Much like The Street Profits, Knight has no time to breathe as he takes on an opponent of monstrous proportions: Braun Strowman. These two have fought against and with one another over the last few months. Unfortunately, on this night, only one can come out on top. Suffice it to say, Strowman is probably the toughest opponent LA Knight will face yet.

Braun Strowman will not give him an inch. As such, Knight should be ready, willing, and able when he steps into the ring with “Monster of All Monsters.”

Will LA Knight be able to pull off this gigantic feat? Or will Braun Strowman secure his first reign as U.S. Champion?

That conclude the WWE SmackDown preview in London for March 28th, 2025.
