Oba Femi Defends NXT Championship in Triple-Threat
Oba Femi has quite a challenge for his NXT Championship at Vengeance Day. His opponents are A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who are a tag team.
On the February 11 edition of NXT, Waller and Theory faked a break-up but it was soon revealed that it was all a ploy to attack Femi. Although Waller and Theory’s plan seems in-tact, attaining the gold could prove detrimental to their relationship as a tag team. Before they even get there, they need to get the gold off of Femi, who has proven to be his best self in triple threat matches.
NXT Women’s Championship Fatal Four-Way
The NXT Women’s Championship provides quite a stacked match at Vengeance Day. Giulia will be defending her gold against three other Superstars, each determined to claim the title for themselves. Namely, the opponents will be Roxanne Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade.
With two out of the three challengers being former champions within the WWE, they know what it takes to get the gold. Jade, although yet to hold a title, is probably the most determined and willing to do whatever it takes. But Giulia could use this moment to define her title reign.
Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe Meet In Strap Match
Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe have gotten in each other’s crosshairs in recent weeks, and it all comes to a head at Vengeance Day. Thorpe challenged Williams to a strap match at the event, and the latter agreed.
This already promises to be quite an intense affair, as they both look to close the chapter on each other definitively. Now, with this strap match stipulation, it just takes that up a notch.
Je’Von Evans and Ethan Page Clash at NXT Vengeance Day
Although not fully healed, Je’Von Evans has been medically cleared for a return to action. This is music to Evans’ ears as he has been waiting to execute his revenge on the man who put him on the shelf – Ethan Page.
At Vengeance Day, Evans and Page will lock up in a singles match but, with their disdain for each other, this could be anything but just a simple clash. Will Evans bring a level of intensity that we have not seen yet or could his lust for revenge lead to his own downfall?
