One thing that has been a trademark of the Triple H era in the WWE has been the constant teases the fans get. It could be two wrestlers talking in the background, a wrestler returning to a previous persona, a heel or face turn, or in the case of the October 21 edition of Raw, a faceoff between two wrestlers who haven’t fought each other before.
When Jey Uso defended the Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker, it was clear they weren’t going to be alone. Sure enough, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu were there to cause havoc. As they battered Uso alongside Breakker, a golden opportunity came along. Breakker and Fatu took it, staring down each other before Uso sent them crashing to the ground.
That quick preview was enough to feed the appetite of the fans. Even though they are on separate brands, it’s clear that WWE wants them to face off sooner rather than later.
Bron Breakker Has Been Unstoppable
Since arriving on the main roster after WrestleMania XL, Bron Breakker has dropped people left and right. He has been booked flawlessly, only having two pinfall losses in over six months. It’s clear WWE sees him as the future, with two Intercontinental Championship reigns under his belt.
Sooner or later though, there will be someone that will give him a major challenge. Someone that will have to push him to his limits to be beaten. Even though they are on separate brands, Jacob Fatu might be that guy.
An equal opponent is exactly what Breakker needs to be challenged and tested as a top guy.
Jacob Fatu Can Show What He’s Truly Made Of
For hardcore fans of wrestling, Jacob Fatu has been a household name for years. With lots of epic matches and title reigns across various promotions, fans have been waiting for him to step foot in WWE. Just like Breakker, he has a reputation as someone that you shouldn’t take lightly in the ring.
A match against Breakker could show WWE fans who weren’t familiar with his independent work that he is exactly as advertised. A fighter who shows no mercy against his opponents. A battle of this magnitude could take Sikoa’s personal enforcer to extraordinary heights should he beat Breakker.
Bron Breakker vs. Jacob Fatu Is a Win-Win For Fans
There are a lot of fans who enjoy The Bloodline saga, and there are a lot of fans who enjoy newcomers from NXT. They love seeing their favorites dominate their competition but also enjoy seeing them get tested and overcome their obstacles.
In the case of Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu, both of those scenarios apply in the case of a match together. Two dominant guys face a test that’ll need them to give it their all to win.
After the Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman match, fans want another monster match. Bron Breakker vs. Jacob Fatu could satisfy their desire to see two forces of nature face each other in the ring once more.
