Preview: AEW Dynamite (11/15/23)

AEW Dynamite Street Fight Match Graphic

With Full Gear this weekend, this will be the go-home episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW World Heavyweight Champion and ROH World Tag Team Champion MJF will address CM Punk…I mean “The Devil” ahead of this Saturday’s show. AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy teams up with FTW Champion Hook as he faces Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta and his opponent for Full Gear Jon Moxley. Our focus will be on the SEGA-sponsored street fight as the Don Callis Family goes to war with Paul Wight, Kota Ibushi, Chirs Jericho, and Kenny Omega!

Will the Don Callis Family erase Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho?

This has been the most promoted match for tonight’s AEW Dynamite. The graphics have been awesome, this has had weeks of build-up, and I honestly don’t know how this match will play out. You can make an excellent case for both sides. Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita would benefit from coming out on top against a team of legends like this, especially if they can score a pinfall over Omega or Jericho.

Brian Cage and Kyle Fletcher would also, but their inclusion in this match makes me think one will take the pin. Additionally, “The Golden Jets” need all the momentum they can get heading into Full Gear this Saturday. Another thing that makes me lean toward the babyfaces is Paul Wight’s AEW record. The big man is undefeated in his AEW run, which has surprisingly not been mentioned in the build.

While I believe the Don Callis family would benefit more, I have to go with Omega, Jericho, Ibushi, and Wight walking away with the win. Unless Paul Wight is as prone to turning as his former alter ego. Regardless, this will be a great night of action, so tune in!
