It’s Monday night. The week begins, and as such, WWE Raw tonight is live. WWE visits the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Its first visit by the WWE was for Unforgiven 2003. A peculiar event. It saw Goldberg defeat Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. A month too late as many would say, given that Goldberg’s momentum was seemingly halted when Triple H was able to eliminate him to win the Elimination Chamber the month prior. Goldberg would not be the same for the remainder of his WWE run. The feud between the two also recreated Harley Race’s feud with Ric Flair en route to the first ever Starrcade, with Triple H offering a $100,000 bounty to have Goldberg eliminated.

The Ring General’s Acknowledgement
The Intercontinental Champion Gunther made his awaited arrival on Raw last week, confronting the Undisputed Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens after they had defeated the rest of Imperium, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci. Feeling the Tag Team Champions actions were disrespectful, he and the rest of Imperium have continued to antagonize Owens and Zayn. But Gunther was approached by ‘The Wise Man’ Paul Heyman followed by an offer from none other than the Unified Universal WWE Champion, Roman Reigns. A simple task was asked: distract Zayn and Owens.
He’s In The MCU Now
While Seth Rollins is busy becoming the second WWE alumni to be involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Batista, he’ll still be set to appear tonight on Raw in the form of the second part of his sit-down interview with Corey Graves. He’s already discussed his past. He may discuss his present tonight.
Two Legends Set To Meet
It’s not every day a clash between two women feels like a generational one in WWE given how women used to be treated. But Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch seem to be headed to such a match. ‘The Man’ returned last week after she was taken out by Trish and made it very clear. She wants a match at Night Of Champions. The contract for the match is set to be signed tonight. Opening the door for both to speak their minds.
The Beast & The Nightmare Again
Once again, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes are scheduled to be under the same roof. It’s not been pretty since WrestleMania, when ‘The Beast Incarnate’ first turned his sights on ‘The American Nightmare’. And it’s doubtful to stop after Cody injured Lesnar’s face at Backlash and he retaliated with great violence.
We also have a 4 Way match to determine new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after Liv Morgan suffered an injury that required them to be vacated. The other half of the Champions, Raquel Rodriguez, is set to bring a mystery partner to take on Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler as well as Iyo Sky and Bayley representing Damage CTRL.
