WWE Raw tonight hits Flair Country as the show comes to us live from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. A popular stop of the NWA, it saw the last World title win for Dusty Rhodes who defeated Ric Flair in the main event of the final Great American Bash event of 1986. A 12-night tour that year. It was also the house of the first four legendary Starrcade events. Without a doubt, the perfect place for a passionate Cody Rhodes promo.

WWE Raw Tonight – Monday Night Raw Card
The Ring General Arrives
After the WWE Draft, the whole group of Imperium has relocated to Monday Night Raw. Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser have already made their debuts on the brand. A losing effort against the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. But not before first heralding the coming arrival of the Intercontinental Champion. The Ring General himself, Gunther.
He will be arriving tonight on Raw. And with a purpose as a Battle Royal to determine his first challenger on the Raw brand has been announced for tonight. There’s a large list of potential challengers. Who’s the one to win a chance at feeling the sting of Gunther’s chops?
Double Duty
On SmackDown, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan successfully defeated Bayley and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL to successfully retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship’s. But there’s no rest for the weary as they’re set to defend yet again tonight. This time against the tandem of Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green. Now Chelsea has had prior success in tag teams, having won the Impact! Knockout’s Tag Team Championships with Deonna Purrazzo as a part of VXT. But this is a pretty different Chelsea Green we have here on WWE. Meanwhile, Sonya Deville hasn’t won any titles yet. Lets see if that changes, as the Champions go into yet another title defense. Will they wear themselves out trying to be fighting Champions?
Miz Has To Face Strong Style
The Miz has been going through a “take me seriously now” phase since his humiliating battles with Pat McAfee, Snoop Dogg and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania. He fell short in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament, but he’s not the only one. As The King Of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura did too. The two are set to clash tonight, though it’s not the first time they’ve faced off. Having a prior match at Clash Of Champions for the Intercontinental title. Nakamura successfully defending back the days when he was managed by Sami Zayn while The Miz was in his babyface run after Shane McMahon betrayed him. Things are…. Different now. To say the least.

2 Weeks Away From Jeddah
WIth two weeks to go before Night Of Champions, only two matches are officially set. Whoever wins the battle royal to challenge Gunther likely setting up a fourth match. Not to mention Trish Stratus continues to await the reappearance of Becky Lynch after betraying her. Natalya seems to have her eyes set on Smackdown (but now exclusive to Raw?) Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. So the card can very well fill up fast tonight.
We also have our big main event to push now as Seth Rollins advanced last week to the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament on the Raw side. While AJ Styles did so this past Friday on the SmackDown side. Setting up a big match between the two former Ring Of Honor alumni. The winner will win the World Heavyweight Championship. If Seth Rollins wins, he makes history right away as the first person to win all three WWE branded World title incarnations. While AJ Styles….. Would have to move right back to Raw after the WWE Draft.
All that and more WWE Raw tonight.
