Trios Turmoil
The match between the Kings of the Black Throne and Best Friends on last week’s AEW Rampage was firing on all cylinders. That is up until it ended in less-than-ideal circumstances. Trent Beretta could not contain his emotions when he saw Brody King put his tag partner Chuck Taylor through a table. The other half of Best Friends blasted Brody square up with a steel chair, causing the disqualification.
Fortunately, this rivalry is not over yet. As of a matter fact, Trent’s impulses may have landed the opportunity of a lifetime. This Wednesday night, the House of Black will be going up against Best Friends and the AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy as they duke it out for the AEW World Trios Championship.
The House of Black does not take anything laying down and they have their eyes set on retaining the gold and exacting their revenge on the trio. Who will come out on top? Will Best Friends and Cassidy pull off the upset? Or will the House of Black reign supreme in this sure-to-be epic clash?
A Long Fight in Long Island
AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Riho had each other’s backs over the last few weeks as they try to stop the unrelenting assaults of The Outcasts. This week, they find themselves at odds with one another as Hayter defends the Women’s Championship against the inaugural former titleholder. Jamie, undoubtedly, has the size and power advantage over the Japanese sensation.
However, Riho’s fighting spirit and experience are second to none regarding these high-stakes matchups. This match promises to be a show-stealing affair. Here’s hoping that Ruby Soho, Toni Storm, and Saraya don’t pull any fast ones and ruin what’s expected to be a monumental clash of styles. It’s Hayter versus Riho for the AEW Women’s World Championship! It all goes down this Wednesday night only AEW Dynamite!
