Ring of Honor (ROH) is back for the second week of television in the rebooted format. Three titles were defended tonight as Samoa Joe, Wheeler Yuta, and Athena defended against Tony Deppen, Timothy Thatcher, and Willow Nightingale respectively. News From the Tapings
Mark Briscoe Answers Samoa Joe
After Joe defeated Tony Deppen he asked for new challengers. ROH original Mark Briscoe answered Joe and claimed that the ROH TV Title is his destiny. Mark is a former ROH World Tag Team and World Six-Man Tag Team Champion.
Gran Metalik and Blake Christian Come Take on Ari Daivari and Slim J
The Trustbusters got a win over Jake Crist and Manscout. Gran Metalik came to the ring after the match looking for a fight with the Trustbusters. He was outnumbered until Blake Christian evened up the odds.
Clark Connors Answers Wheeler Yuta
After Wheeler Yuta defeated Timothy Thatcher to retain the ROH Pure Champion he took to the microphone to call out the ROH Dojo. Clark Connors answered the promo and laid out a challenge to Yuta. The match between the two is set for next week.
Claudio Castagnoli Responds to Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston made his intentions clear last week. He wants a shot at Claudio Castagnoli and the ROH World Championship. After Eddie Kingston defeated Ben Dejo he called Claudio out, who made his way to the arena. Claudio claimed Eddie would never be champion because he has no honor.
