London will host WWE Money In The Bank in July, marking the first time a WWE major show has taken place from the UK capitol in two decades. MITB will take place at the 20,000 seater O2 Arena in London, UK on Saturday July 1, 2023. The show will feature men’s and women’s Money In The Bank ladder matches.
The winners recieve a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match at a time and place of their choosing within the next year.

Big 5 Event
The WWE EVP, Talent, Dan Ventrelle said the O2 was the perfect venue for the event.
“The O2 is one of the world’s premier venues and the perfect home for Money In The Bank. We are excited to bring one of our ‘Big 5’ events to the UK and look forward to welcoming the WWE Universe to London on July 1.”
The event comes hot off the heels of the succesful Clash At The Castle in September 2022 in Cardiff, Wales. Clash At The Castle broke numerous records at the time including becoming the most-watched international premium live event in WWE history. It was the first WWE UK stadium show since SummerSlam in 1992.

What To Expect
With the winner of the MITB ladder matches earning a guaranteed championship opportunity it means UK fans could see a major title change.
WWE will look to place British, Irish and European superstars in prominent positions. Much like when Sheamus and Gunther competed for the WWE Intercontinental Championship; and Drew McIntyre challenged for the WWE Universal Championship at Clash At The Castle.
Liv Morgan won last year’s women’s MITB ladder match. She cashed in her contract to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship from Ronda Rousey on the same night.
AJ Styles was the last person to win a major WWE Championship in the UK. Styles shockingly defeated Jinder Mahal in Manchester during SmackDown Live in November, 2017.
Perhaps the wheels could be in motion for Drew McIntyre to finally have his big WWE Championship moment in the UK.
