IMPACT Wrestling presents Emergence live from Cicero Stadium in Cicero Illinois. The action from the Chicagoland area started early as VXT became the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions as part of the pre-show for the event.

Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green reunited as VXT to take on the former champions of Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary. Even though Jessica was ringside for the match her presence was not enough for Valkyrie and Rosemary to retain the titles. At one point her interference backfired and allowed VXT to take control of the match. Things stayed largely in the corner of VXT for the remainder of the match. Towards the end of the match, Rosemary accidentally hit Valkyrie with mist that was intended for Green. This allowed Green to pick up the win.
This match evened things up a bit for Deonna Purrazzo as far as Valkyrie is concerned. Valkyrie defeated her for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship shortly after her return to the promotion at Multiverse of Matches. With this win, both Green and Purrazzo become IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions for the first time. Both are former IMPACT Knockouts Champions with Green having one reign and Purrazzo having two.
