The lights went out in Philadelphia as The House of Black made their way into the arena. When the lights came back on The group had Feugo Del Sol and were threatening to rip his mask off. It appeared that Alex Abrahantes was in the middle of the ring taunting The House of Black. Penta’s music hit and he and Abrahentes made their way to the ring. The person in the middle of the ring took off the robe and was revealed to be a returning Rey Fenix.
Fenix was injured in early January during an AEW World Tag Team Championship match. He was thrown through a table that was set up on the arena floor and landed awkwardly on his arm. The injury happened towards the end of the match and the Lucha Brothers lost the tag titles that night. He has not been seen in an AEW ring since, until tonight.
Now that the Lucha Brothers are back in full force could we see them renter the tag team title picture? Time will tell as the Lucha Brothers return to tag action in AEW.
