Matt Cardona is the new IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion. He defeated Jordynne Grace on IMPACT on AXS TV to become the second-ever Digital Media Champion.

Matt Cardona Wins IMPACT Digital Media Championship
Cardona started the match off by not wanting to fully attack Grace. He was hesitant to hit certain moves in the first part of the match. Cardona also seemed remorseful after hitting a couple of moves. Cardona became more aggressive partway through the match. He hit the “Reboot” on Grace and then tried to use the title belt as a weapon before the referee could take it from him. With the referee looking away, Cardona struck Grace with a chair and a “Radio Silence” to win the title. The mean streak seemed to stick with Cardona as he made his way to the back.
This marks the first championship in IMPACT Wrestling for Matt Cardona. With this win, Cardona ends the inaugural reign as IMPACT Digital Media Champion for Grace. Grace became the inaugural champion after winning a six-way match at Bound for Glory. She successfully defended it against John Skylar, Chelsea Green, Lady Frost, and Kiera Hogan before losing to Cardona tonight.
Cardona is a former WWE United States, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Champion. He is also a one-time Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) World Champion. He has been a part of IMPACT, GCW, and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) since 2021. Time will tell if Cardona adds more IMPACT gold to his professional wrestling resume.
