Mance Warner & Danhausen Both Injured at Sunday Event

Danhausen & Mance Warner Injured

What should have been an exciting Halloween show (which it still was) and a weekend of new futures for both men, former Major League Wrestling (MLW) and Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) regular Mance Warner and Ring of Honor and indie sensation Danhausen, were both injured at a show for Next Generation Wrestling (NGW) in Tennessee. Mance Warner sustained his injury in the course of his match against Dirty Dango (formerly WWE’s Fandango), while Danhausen was injured during his tag match with Warhausen teammate WARHORSE against Renegades of Flight (Facade & Jason Kincaid). In a scene that should definitely lead to a STARZ series, WARHORSE took both men to the hospital.

Danhausen revealed on his Twitter that he suffered a broken bone in his leg, while Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Mance Warner’s injury appears to be “more serious” and may also involve his knee.

Both men are coming off emotional weeks. Danhausen was released from Ring of Honor this past week in the massive ROH shift, while Mance Warner was finally released from his MLW contract after not being used since March of 2020. Mance Warner (alongside Matthew Justice) just lost the GCW Tag Team titles to ROH’s Briscoes, but it looks like the return match will have to wait. Last Word on Pro Wrestling sends best wishes and speedy recovery to two of the U.S. indies top stars today.
