Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin and Cutler James kicked off NXT with a major win over their former teammate, Saquon Shugars. Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar agreed to team with Shugars, and their speed frustrated their hulking opponents as their timely teamwork gained them an early advantage. Shugars and Lennox couldn’t stop fighting each other as they crashed the infamous NXT perch. However, that move allowed DarkState to swarm Moreno as they hit him with a massive twisting powerbomb to earn the win.
Lola Vice challenges Kendal Grey to an NXT Underground Match
NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey thinks that no one can beat her at her best. Lola Vice reminded her that Grey is the Champion because she defeated Vice one night. She was the better woman one night only. Grey beat her in a match, but she won’t beat her in a fight. Grey found the idea perfect because that would be a good way for her to prove herself as a Champion. On August 4, they will meet in the Underground and fight for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Decimated Hank
Despite Hank Walker’s best efforts, Keanu Carver walked out of NXT with a major victory. A fired-up Walker brought the fight right to Carver, but it wasn’t long before he started to get carved up. Carver planted Walker with a match-ending Spinebuster, but then turned his attention to Tank Ledger before being stopped by EK Prosper.
