WWE Night of Champions 2026 was the site of the finals of the King of the Ring 2026 tournament, featuring the “Ruler” Oba Femi, who’s been on a massive roll as of late, as he went up against former World Heavyweight Champion and 2025 Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso. From the jump, the WWE Universe knew we were in for a great time, but Jey Uso and Oba Femi more than delivered in this finals showdown.
Unfortunately, only one man can hold up the crown, and at WWE Night of Champions 2026, WWE welcomed new royalty.

Oba Femi Demolishes Jey Uso at WWE Night of Champions to Win King of the Ring 2026
It was by no means an easy path for either man to reach the finals of the King of the Ring 2026 tournament. Oba Femi went through Solo Sikoa, Penta, Carmelo Hayes, and, in the semis, Dominik Mysterio. While Femi made it look so easy, we could only imagine the toughness of the “Ruler” going at the pace he’s been going since debuting on WWE Raw.

On the other hand, Jey Uso had a strict order from the “OTC” and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns to bring back the Undisputed WWE Title to The Bloodline. During the King of the Ring 2026 tournament, Jey Uso went on an absolute tear and booked his ticket to Riyadh against Femi. Come WWE NoC, both men showed up and showed out, carving out a bloody battle, with everything on the line in the finals of this gauntlet.

This is absolutely weird to say, but somehow, Oba Femi was completely dominant tonight, despite Jey Uso being in control of most of the match. This bout never let the crowd breathe once, with Jey Uso going in hot, giving it his all against Femi.

Jey would try everything, a Spear, Multiple Superkicks, Multiple Uso Splashs, and even a Sleeper Hold. But Femi, despite being injured, would kick out immediately. Femi would find it in himself, toss Jey from the Sleeper Hold position and hype himself up. With one devastating Fall From Grace, Oba Femi is King of the Ring 2026.
After the match, Oba Femi said that it feels good to go from “Ruler” to “King,” and that Jey can’t beat destiny, but more importantly, he can’t beat Femi.
At WWE Night of Champions, live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Oba Femi came into these finals with one thing in mind: a guaranteed shot at the world title at this August’s SummerSlam 2026, and he did just that.
