Lucha Libre AAA Preview (6/27/26) – What is Next for Los Perros del Mal?, NXT Women’s Title on the Line

Lucha Libre AAA is back again this week with another episode in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Last week came with many big announcements for this week’s episode, but many questions about what is to come as well. Let’s take a look at what AAA has in store tonight, June 27, 2026.

Lucha Libre AAA Preview (6/27/26):

Lola Vice Set to Defend NXT Women’s Title Against La Hiedra

A day before she is set to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Kendal Grey in the main event of NXT’s Great American Bash event, Lola Vice will have to defend her title against La Hiedra to make it to the Bash as NXT Women’s Champion. This will be the first time that the NXT Women’s Championship has been defended on AAA TV.

Lola Vice and La Hiedra have been feuding for months, with the two initially fighting for who will be the tag team partner for Mr. Iguana. Vice would end up being victorious against La Hiedra to have the right to be the partner of Mr. Iguana.

Since then, La Hiedra has teamed up with many different men to go after Vice and Iguana’s AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, but they have failed each other. With this defense, it could end their feud. Will La Hiedra finally get the job done? Will Lola Vice retain and head to the Bash as NXT Women’s Champion? We’ll see tonight on AAA.

Who is the Former World Champion Headed to AAA?

Last week, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio also announced that a former WWE world champion will begin making appearances for the company in the future. This announcement leaves many questions about who the former world champion could be.

Looking at the current roster and its former champions, there are a lot of good and reasonable options for who it could be.

Damien Priest is a name that could use a run in AAA right now to get back into main event territory. Priest does have some unfinished business with Dominik Mysterio, after Mysterio cheated to beat Priest in the King of the Ring tournament.

There are also surprise names that could pop up for a few appearances, such as CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins.

It will be exciting to see who the former world champion will be, and we hope to find out tonight on AAA.

Los Psycho Circus Have a Message for Pagano

After months of attacks against Los Psycho Circus and weeks of accusations against Pagano, the team of Psycho Clown and Pagano would implode after losing their AAA Tag Team Titles to the War Raiders. The two men would argue, and Pagano would let the War Raiders beat down on Psycho Clown.

Now, Los Psycho Circus will appear on AAA to send a message to Pagano, after the attacks and betrayal of Psycho Clown.

The group will have a lot to say after the last few months, and we’ll see if a future match will come of it.

What is the Goal of Los Perros del Mal?

Last week on AAA, Los Perros del Mal would return with a brand new iteration and would attack El Grande Americano in the final segment of the show.

The new group, which consists of Daga, Garza, Berto, Bronco Nima, and Karmen Petrovic, has a lot of history. Daga was a former member of the original stable, and Garza and Berto carry on the lineage of their uncle and former member, Hector Garza.

With Los Perros del Mal back, the question is, why did they attack El Grande Americano? Was it personal, or was it to make a statement to show that Los Perros del Mal are far back and ready to gain back dominance? Lucha Libre AAA will air live tonight at 8/10 pm on FOX in Latin America and on YouTube internationally.
