WWE NXT Preview (4/7/26) – Presenting Your New Champions

We are in for quite the show on Tuesday as Stand and Deliver just concluded. The time has come where both new WWE NXT Men’s and Women’s Champion’s were crowned. Tony D’Angelo and Lola Vice walked out with gold around their waist being serenaded with “you deserve it” chants from the audience.

It was a long journey to get to this moment, for both D’Angelo and Vice. Now on Tuesday we will see how these new champions change the atmosphere of NXT. Who is ready to step up to become their new challengers?

There will be more fallout from Stand and Deliver that will be featured on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Along with the beginning of a new Speed Tournament. Read more here and be sure to keep checking in for updates and more information.

Men’s Speed Tournament Begins

This Speed Tournament is a little different as it’s not for the number one contender ship, but rather the championship itself. Speed Champion, Elio LeFleur will be forced to relinquish the championship due to a shoulder injury that he sustained at a house show.

General Manager, Robert Stone, announced that the tournament would begin next week. However, the competitors have not been announced yet. Be sure to check in for more updates.

A Triple Threat Heard Across NXT

On Tuesday, there is also a triple threat match scheduled to take place between Keanu Carver, Jasper Troy, and Josh Briggs. This match came about after what had occurred last week on NXT.

Last week, Josh Briggs stepped up to be the referee for Keanu Carver and Jasper Troy. This may not have been an ideal decision, but none of the NXT referees wanted to take their match after seeing the brutality of Carver and Troy.

The match would conclude and Briggs was the last one standing tall in the ring. Will he have that same fate next week on NXT? What do you think?

Match Card and Preview:

  • Men’s Speed Tournament Begins for New Champion
  • Triple Threat: Keanu Carver vs. Jasper Troy vs. Josh Briggs
  • DarkState will be featured
  • Lola Vice Championship Celebration
  • Singles Match: Izzi Dame vs. Sol Ruca
