Lola? Kendal? Or both?
Before the match, backstage, Izzi Dame told Jacy Jayne she wanted something from her. Just after, the No. 1 Contendership Match between Lola Vice and Kendal Grey ended controversially and without a clear winner. Vice managed to crack Grey with her signature Spinning Backfist, but it knocked Grey out of the ring just as NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence arrived at ringside.
The two Superstars traded incredible blows with Vice locking in a Guillotine submission, but Grey countered with a Northern Lights Suplex, leading to a highly controversial simultaneous pin and submission. The chaos forced WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels to come down to the ring with no clear winner in sight.

Meanwhile, backstage…
- NXT North American Champion Myles Borne and Johnny Gargano exchanged words before NXT Stand & Deliver.
- DarkState was not happy with how things went, Dion Lennox more than the others.
- The Vanity Project was ready to support Blake Monroe.
- Shiloh Hill was pretty enthusiastic.
- Robert Stone made a Three-Way match between Keanu Carver, Josh Briggs, and Jasper Troy. Meanwhile, Kelani Jordan attacked Jaida Parker.
- ZaRuca is no more. Who will stand tall at NXT Stand and Deliver?

Nygma Says
The episode was pretty good, but there were like 2 episodes in one. It seems like Dion Lennox will soon leave DarkState. The Birthright proved that the force of the number was not making them better. Kelani Jordan is a bad loser. I’m not sure Ethan Page and Ricky Saints are friends anymore. Josh Briggs was himself, as usual. Blake Monroe is not the only “two-faced” woman in NXT, as Tatum Paxley is as kind as devilish.
Finally, it was easy to understand there would be no winner between Lola Vice and Kendal Grey. What I didn’t understand is why the Three-Way match wasn’t announced immediately. The NXT Women’s Championship match is not happening on Saturday, but an NXT Women’s North American Championship match will. What does it mean? Potential call-ups?
Well, this new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. I’ll see you this Saturday night (well, Sunday morning) live for NXT Stand and Deliver, and next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
