However, WWE finds itself in a difficult position this year. John Cena and AJ Styles, two of the company’s all-time greats, recently retired. Furthermore, prominent stars like Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Rey Mysterio, and Bianca Belair are injured. Enter Gunther, who has recently been on a tear as “The Career Killer.” AJ Styles and John Cena have already fallen to the Career Killer. Although Gunther is unlikely to retire Rollins, it would be intriguing to witness a storyline where such an angle can be explored.
Brock Lesnar is dealing with Oba Femi, and the Vision is chasing the Tag Team Championships. That leaves Heyman with a limited set of options. However, the Oracle is an excellent negotiator, and the Hall of Famer can shake hands with the Career Killer.
