WrestleMania 33 – Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Championship Match)
Brock Lesnar and Goldberg were never going to give the world a great wrestling match. These were two men who used power moves and slammed opponents with their devastating finishers as quickly as they could. It was hard for anyone to stand up to their immense power, let alone pull off a victory.
Their first battle, at WrestleMania 20, left much to be desired, but was rectified by their banger at WrestleMania 33. A match that only lasted under 5 minutes, but still contained all the hard-hitting action that we have come to associate with Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. This was a match filled with spears, suplexes, jackhammers, and F-5’s.
There was no feeling-out period; each man threw their best shot at the other in the hopes of ending the match as quickly as possible. This was a pure shot of adrenaline into the veins of the wrestling world.
