WWE SmackDown Preview (2/27/26) – Elimination Chamber 2026 “Go-Home” Show

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 is one day away in Chicago. This week’s Friday Night Fight Night is back on The USA Network, after a two-week stint on SyFy due to the Olympics. SmackDown is coming back to its home network in a huge way—championship bouts, grudge matches, and confrontations that will get anyone’s heart pumping. Let’s do this, WWE Universe. Here’s a WWE SmackDown preview for February 27, 2026, the night before Elimination Chamber. Let’s run it down.

A Titanic Clash

Nia Jax is looking to bounce back after a crushing loss last week on WWE SmackDown in her 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier, as she and her Irresistible Forces partner Lash Legend look to capture gold and get back on the right track as they take on RHIYO, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY.

These two sides have been warring for the past couple of months, as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Division is in the midst of its greatest period in recent memory. RHIYO has dominated Raw, and the Irresistible Forces have run roughshod over SmackDown.

Legend and Jax made a statement on this past Friday night’s SmackDown by interfering in Ripley’s match against Giulia, trying to soften up Rhea for their title bout. Fortunately for Mami, IYO SKY was in the building and made the save before the Irresistible Forces inflicted more damage.

This coming week, we see two of the top teams from both brands try to assert their spot as the conquerors of the division; who will reign supreme? Will team RHIYO  continue their roll as of late? Or will the Irresistible Forces crush SKY and Ripley on their way to becoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions?

A-List Beatdown?

Oba Femi has been on an absolute tear since arriving on the WWE main roster, mowing down competitors left and right. He did it again on the last episode of Smackdown, obliterating Kit Wilson in less time than it takes to finish a meal. The Miz would recognize Femi’s “potential,” wanting to welcome him to the big leagues as The Miz viewed himself as the heir apparent to the recently retired John Cena’s throne as the “locker room leader.”

Well, Oba took this as a challenge, saying he’ll talk to Nick Aldis and he can welcome him properly next week. The Miz was very receptive to the idea, but later realized he talked himself into a match with the “Ruler” on this coming SmackDown, with the A-Lister begging Femi not to go through with it.

Unfortunately, the match is now set. Regardless of what anyone thinks, The Miz is a multiple-time WWE Champion, as well as being a multi-time Grand Slam Winner, so he’s not someone you can take lightly. That said, Oba Femi is ready to make a bigger statement if he’s fearlessly going after a future WWE Hall of Famer.

Catch this all unfold, as WWE SmackDown is now back on The USA Network, only a day away from Elimination Chamber!
