3. Raw Tag Team Championship: WrestleMania 35 (2019)
After going their separate ways, making singles runs after they lost their titles in 2009, WrestleMania 35 presented Ryder and Hawkins with the opportunity of a lifetime. They approached reigning Raw Tag Team Champions Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder and asked for a match after reuniting as a tag team duo a few short months earlier.
Despite Ryder making his long-awaited reunion alongside Hawkins, the focus wasn’t on past achievements and nostalgia, but on Hawkins’ historically awful 269-match losing streak in WWE. Heading into WrestleMania 35, the focus was not only on gaining back their championship belts from over 10 years earlier, but also ending Hawkins’ losing streak.
After appearing to be knocked out, Hawkins managed to end his own losing streak by “playing possum” and then rolling up Dawson for the pinfall. The stadium erupted as Ryder and Hawkins secured their second title win together on the Grandest Stage of them all in their hometown of New York/New Jersey.
The victory would bring Ryder full circle, with him winning another title with his close friend—a feel-good moment deserving of the third spot in the ranking.
