4. Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. LayCool – TLC 2010
This match was unexpectedly great, and that’s why The Divas of Doom were so intimidating back then. LayCool were entertaining and solid per usual, but Phoenix and Natalya had power, intensity, and dominance. That kind of thing was unseen during this time for women in WWE, so it was great to go back and see it put on full display. It was fast-paced, had good spots, and everyone in the match got a good hand.
Unfortunately, the finish was botched, and didn’t go as planned. Regardless, all four women played their part in its recovery, which turned out well in the end. If you’re looking for a more violent Divas Match, this one is for you. Just don’t expect anything too crazy; the circumstances and expectations of this time still constrained them.
