WWE NXT Results (12/2/25) – NXT Deadline on The Horizon

The December 2, 2025, edition of WWE NXT emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. We are just a few days away from the last NXT PLE of the year, NXT Deadline 2025. Oba Femi requested a rematch against Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship, and the Iron Survivor Challenges are back. John Cena made his picks, and the male and female Challenges are meant to be epic matches.

Only one match was advertised for this week’s NXT episode, Josh Briggs vs. Tavion Heights. Additionally, a Women’s Iron Survivor Summit was announced to take place. We also found out last night that DarkState would face Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, and Myles Borne in an Iron Survivor Preview. Because TNA is involved, let’s Nygma dive into what happened last night.

Fatal Influence Crashed the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Summit

Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kendal Grey surrounded NXT General Manager Ava. Sol Ruca talked about a “path to peace” to become the new NXT Women’s Champion at New Year’s Evil. Vice, Grey, and Jordan also talked about the Championship goal until Fatal Influence arrived.

Jacy Jayne roasted all the participants. Jordan said that she would still be the TNA Knockouts World Champion if it weren’t for Grace. That was enough to start the brawl. Grace attacked Jordan while Fatal Influence attacked the others. Later, Ava made a decision: Tonight, it will be Fatal Influence vs Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Kendal Grey.

Thea Unhinged

After some discussions, Thea Hail picked up a major win as she convincingly defeated Arianna Grace. Grace found herself in serious trouble when Joe Hendry stopped Stacks from interfering by hitting a Standing Ovation onto the apron. Hail locked in Grace in a  Kimura Lock to force her to submit. Operation Destruction

Josh Briggs vs. Tavion Heights was meant to be a huge match, filled with hate and anger. Josh Briggs walked out victorious after his brutal matchup with Tavion Heights. The two Superstars waged war in and out of the ring, with Heights even slamming Briggs through the barricade on the outside. Briggs rallied and even found a way to get his foot on the bottom rope after being hit with a Running Belly-to-Belly Suplex, ending the match with a devastating Running Lariat.

The Dame’s Answers

Izzi Dame and The Culling made their way to the ring. She said, “I didn’t betray Tatum. I corrected a mistake.” A mistake she made when she welcomed Tatum Paxley by her side as an equal. Dame’s guidance was not a suggestion; she gave a voice. Paxley is selfish. Dame added, “Tatum only became the NXT Women’s Champion because I allowed her to.” She described herself as the reason why Paxley became Champion.

Paxley appeared on the screen, saying Dame had taken away from her the one thing that she wanted the most. Dame wanted her to come, but Paxley instead challenged her for a match at NXT Deadline.

The end of ZaRuca?

Before the match, Zaria came to talk to Sol Ruca to tell her she won’t be by her side tonight. In the ring, Sol Ruca snatched NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne’s soul epically. Ruca teamed up with her Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge competitors, Lola Vice and Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey, to battle Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid.

The match became chaotic as Vice, Grey, Reid, and Henley fell to the outside, and that’s when Ruca seized the moment, hit a Sol Snatcher on Jayne, and won the match. After the bout, NXT Deadline 2025 appeared and seemingly tried to hit Ruca with a Spear, but hit Grey instead.

OTM Sends a Message to the NXT Tag Team Division

Bronco Nima and Lucien Price scored a tag team victory against Chase U. OTM seemed to be toying with their opponents, even picking them up during pinfall attempts. Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon attempted to mount a comeback, but it came up short as OTM crushed them in the end.

Not DarkState

Earlier, Ava decided to raise the stakes. Whoever gets the pinfall in tonight’s 8-Man Tag Team Main Event will get to choose their entry spot for this Saturday’s Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Before the match, Dion Lennox gave his Tag Team Title to Saquon Shugars and reminded Oba Femi of a conversation the two had that lit a fire under the DarkState powerhouse.

Myles Borne got the pinfall in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match against DarkState, meaning he gets to pick his spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline. The match began to break down when all eight competitors got involved. Borne teamed with Je’Von Evans, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry, and the quartet proved to be a super team, using their different skills to keep Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin, and Cutler James off their collective mark.

Evans and Slater used their incredible high-flying arsenal to stun Griffin. Slater had the match won following a Swanton 450 to Osiris Griffin, but Borne tagged in at the last second and hit Borne again on Griffin to win the bout and earn the right to choose his spot at Deadline.

Nygma Says

Most of the episode was around the upcoming WWE NXT Deadline PLE. I enjoyed it from start to finish, and I can assure you it’s quite rare. I’ll see you next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
