6. Test Vs. Edge – 2001
Test representing the Alliance, his Intercontinental Championship was at stake at Survivor Series 2001, as was Edge’s WCW United States Championship. The winner would unify the two titles. Their title unification match was underrated and exceeded many expectations.
Neither man was going to give up easily, with both kicking out of each other’s trademark finishers. Edge rolled up Test, and he became a four-time Intercontinental Champion. The WCW United States Championship was no more until Eddie Guerrero won the title in a tournament at Vengeance 2003, when the title was reactivated. Furthermore, at the time of writing, this is the most recent Intercontinental Championship title change to date at Survivor Series.
