True Divas Vs. Total Divas (2013)
Nowadays, WWE takes women’s wrestling seriously and presents its female talent as true stars. In this day and age, AJ Lee is respected by the fanbase for her contributions during the awful “Divas” era and for always standing up against the cast of Total Divas.
Back in 2013, though, AJ was the heel during her battles with the reality TV stars. That mentality alone is enough to make WWE want you to forget about this match, but somehow things got even worse once the bell rang.
Fourteen women participated in this match. Twelve were eliminated, all by pinfall or submission. Eleven minutes was the time it got. Three short minutes after the opening bell rang, three Divas had already been eliminated – including former Divas Champion Alicia Fox. This traditional Survivor Series elimination tag match was a joke and represented everything that was wrong with women’s wrestling at the time.
