The Neal Rantoul Vault Theater in Lynn, Massachusetts, held SuperNova Wrestling’s Halloween Chaos on October 24, 2025. It was their final large event of the year, as episodes of Shock and Vortex were still set to be released.
They ended the year with a bang as they wrapped up the Zarba Cup Finals and crowned a new SNW TV Champion. The SNW Openweight Championship was also on the line at Halloween Chaos, and the night closed with a street fight between the Apex Champion, Tony Clash, and his brother-in-law, Matthew Soares.
Here’s a recap of the night with exclusive interviews from competitors such as the SNW Openwight Champion, Johnny Pierce, his opponent Mr. Grim, The Soultaker, and more.

Soultaker vs. Drew Gulak
Drew Gulak made his return to Supernova Wrestling, while his opponent, Soultaker, was making his SNW debut. Soultaker has been wrestling for close to three decades and is known for taking his opponents’ souls.
Prior to the match, Soultaker had to say this about his opponent,
“I don’t know much about him. I don’t care where he’s been or what he has done. But the only thing he has to be aware of is where he is going, and that’s six feet under, after I take his soul.”
The match may not have gone in favor of the Soultaker, but he did leave standing tall. It was a very close match between Drew Gulak and Soultaker. The match ended unexpectedly via roll-up from Drew Gulak.
Soultaker wouldn’t let the match end like that and proceeded to attack Drew Gulak. He would hit him repeatedly over the back with a shovel, making multiple officials step in to stop the violence.
When finishing up the conversation I had with Soultaker, he said,
“Just remember, there’s nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. No souls matter.”
SNW World Openweight Championship
Johnny Pierce, the SuperNova Openweight Champion, was at Halloween Chaos to defend his championship against the returning Mr. Grim. Mr. Grim was last in SNW in 2018, back when the company was still SuperNova Promotions.
Mr. Grim’s time away from SNW was due to his growing success in the wrestling world. He has wrestled internationally in Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Peru, and other countries. Currently, Grim wrestles in NWA and MLW, but he has also worked for promotions such as AEW, CZW, ACW, and more. For the past 11-12 years, Mr. Grim has been wrestling all over and gaining various experiences. At Halloween Chaos, Mr. Grim will have to use all that he has learned to try to defeat Johnny Pierce.
The Cold Hard Truth, Johnny Pierce is 6’6”, weighing in at 304 pounds. In this match against Mr. Grim, Pierce has the height advantage, but Grim has been wrestling longer. Prior to the match, Pierce had to say,
“I always see where I can measure up against wrestlers my size and bigger. A lot of times we’re facing smaller opponents, and this is somebody also where I’ll have to level up and bring my best. And if not, I’m going to look pretty foolish in front of everyone.”
It was a great match-up, but it unfortunately ended in a no-contest after Rex Lawless ran out and interfered. Regarding the interference, Mr. Grim said,
“Whatever his beef is with Pierce, now he made it my business, so now he’s got a target on his back, and his future looks grim.”

2025 Zarba Cup Final
The finals of the Zarba Cup match were set to take place at Halloween Chaos. This tournament is very special as it honors the late Mike Zarba. It will be around the tenth year that the tournament has been taking place, but this year, the winner doesn’t get a trophy.

The winner of the 2025 Zarba Cup Tournament will become the new SNW TV Champion. The final was a fatal four-way match; however, some of the original competitors had to be replaced due to injury or personal circumstances. The world-famous Cheeseburger was hand-picked by Billy Avery to replace him in the match. Avery suffered a back injury, which will likely keep him out of the ring for the remainder of the year. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Fly Ni Noreaga was in the match, while TKO Dean was sent to replace Frank Bones due to injury, and Yoosaf Odinson was replacing Ares Perez in the match. When asked how it feels to be receiving a championship match, Odinson said,
“Finally, the assault force gets the recognition to be in a championship match. Do what he has to do to show everyone that he is unstoppable. I’m the bastard of Asgard, and Odin sent me here to do one thing, and that is to beat down every opponent.”
Odinson did what he said, beat down every opponent, and left the night with the SNW TV Championship alongside his manager, Eddie Whyte. After the match, Whyte did most of the talking for Odinson and had to say,
“All we were doing was wrestling on a bunch of chumps who were inevitably gonna lose anyway. So it doesn’t matter. What are our thoughts? We already knew he was gonna be the champion. The crowd don’t wanna deny that. They can dread that, they can run from that, but they can’t deny destiny, that he was going to be the television champion and win the Zarba Cup. It’s as simple as that.”
Make sure to keep up with SuperNova Wrestling to find out what’s next for Yoosaf Odinson and his SNW TV Championship.
Tony Clash vs. Matthew Soares – Lynn City of Sin Street Fight
This match has high stakes, which is why it has earned its spot as the main event of the evening. For insight into the match stipulation, it is a Lynn City of Sin Street Fight, meaning that anything can be used against your opponent.
This match was not a title match, despite Tony Clash being the Apex Champion. It could be argued that this match was higher-stakes than a championship match. The match was very personal as these two are brother-in-laws, and Soares’ movie production company, MCS Films, was on the line.
The film company means a lot to Soares, especially considering he is not a wrestler. He is literally fighting for his company, and neither he nor Tony Clash held back. Chairs, ladders, and thumbtacks were brought out in the match. Clash’s son even got involved on Soares’s behalf.
Soares picked up the victory and kept his film company, earned his money, and gained his brother-in-law, Tony Clash’s, respect. It wasn’t the end of the night, though. The Chef, Peter Gianni, used the golden ticket he had won earlier in the night to secure an Apex Championship match right then and there against Tony Clash. Gianni saw the opportunity and took it. Halloween Chaos ended, crowning a new Apex Champion, “The Chef” Peter Gianni.
