Pete Dunne
A lot of the time, when NXT wrestlers are called up to the main roster, they often go through drastic changes. Sometimes they lose their ring name, sometimes they debut with a completely new character.
Pete Dunne also retired his NXT character when he joined the main roster in March 2022 and became “Butch”. Many fans criticized this move, thinking Dunne would lose his steam. It seems the fans were right, considering he eventually reverted to his previous ring name. In recent months, Pete Dunne has adopted a new moniker, and now he’s working alongside El Grande Americano in Los Americanos as Rayo Americano.
