Tama Tonga Back in Action on WWE SmackDown; Orchestrates Brutal Attack

That’s right, WWE Universe, Tama Tonga is back, and he is as vicious as ever. The last time we saw Tonga was on the April 11th, 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown, weeks before WWE WrestleMania 41. Tama Tonga sustained an injury, effectively putting him out of commission. On this week’s Friday show in Perth, Australia, Tonga made his presence felt in a big way.

During the U.S. Open Challenge between United States Champion Sami Zayn and a returning Shinsuke Nakamura, Tonga would pull Nakamura out of the ring, leading to a disqualification and a beatdown, as the MFTs would come to his aid, sporting war paint, and declaring devastation on the WWE SmackDown roster.

After the vicious assault, Solo Sikoa would come down to the ring, saying nothing but essentially warning everyone his Family Tree isn’t playing around and they are here to take back the throne and WWE SmackDown.

The MFTs are now in full force with, as Michael Cole put it, their “missing piece” back in the fold. How does this bode for the WWE SmackDown roster?
