Former WWE, ECW, TNA, and WCW wrestler Raven will be the focus of a new documentary set to stream on Amazon Prime next month.The Raven documentary will tell the true story behind a character that spoke to angst-filled, disillusioned youth and took over the man who created it.
Nevermore: The Raven Effect will be available on the streaming service from November 19, 2025, following theatrical screenings in the US.
Scott “Raven” Levy’s story will be told by documentary filmmaker Geordie Day and his company, Nightschool Films. The feature includes interviews with Raven, Paul Heyman, Chris Jericho, Billy Corgan, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Diamond Dallas Page, plus many more.
His fiercest rivals from his time in ECW will discuss what it was like working with Raven, who was known to rub people up the wrong way during his career.
The Blue Meanie will host a live Q&A with Raven during a special screening of Nevermore: The Raven Effect in Philadelphia on October 11 and 12. Blue Meanie also features in the documentary itself.
The Raven Effect
Levy is diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder, and holds an IQ of 143 and is a member of Mensa. This makes him one of the most unique minds ever to compete in the wrestling industry.
Levy was so skilled at producing wrestling matches that he was offered a job at just 20 years of age with WWE. But, seeing himself as an artist, he looked to create a character and perform himself.
Originally a mullet-sporting, pretty boy heel in the early 90s with WCW, he pivoted to his Edgar Allan Poe-inspired grunge, eloquent narcissist act, Raven.
This unique gimmick, along with his highly personal and brutal matches with Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman, put him on the map and earned him the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Raven became the voice of the voiceless decades before a certain CM Punk would ‘borrow’ the moniker.
Nevermore: The Raven Effect will tell the tale of a man who competed at the highest level, changed the industry, and created something truly different in an industry that’s seen everything. Raven is one of very few people who can boast a 40-year career with WWE, WCW, ECW, NWA, Ring of Honor, TNA Impact, and MLW.

WWF Hardcore Championship match: Raven vs. Rhyno (WWF Backlash 2001)
Why: Raven held the WWF Hardcore Championship 27 times. Often, only for a matter of minutes. But this 8-minute PPV is one of the best hardcore matches in WWE history. Raven’s trademark shopping trolley of weapons even makes it into the ring.
