WWE WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia, the company confirmed today during a special announcement.
The move sees WWE taking its marquee event, WrestleMania, outside North America for the first time. WWE WrestleMania will take place in Riyadh in 2027.
No exact date or venue was specified.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Liv Morgan, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Stephanie Vaquer appeared at the press conference hosted by Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
“I’d like to announce for the first time ever, WrestleMania will be hosted outside the US and Canada. In 27, we are proud to announce that WrestleMania will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh season,” Levesque said at the conference.
“Saudi Arabia is one of the greatest fanbases on the planet,” he claimed.
Since 1985, WrestleMania has been one of the greatest attractions and has grown to become a cultural phenomenon, Levesque said.
WrestleMania is broadcast in more than 200 countries on Netflix and ESPN in the US.
Bianca Belair added that she was proud to compete in Saudi Arabia to be able to show what women can do.
